Welcome to FRALAN
FRALAN Institute of Management and Development Studies is a training school established by the Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode in the year 2021. We offer management and development training courses to Church personnel; Priests, Religious and lay faithful.
FRALAN was born out of our perceived need of Dioceses and Religious Institutes to train Priests, Religious and Lay personnel for responsibility as possible administrators, coordinators and for other leadership roles in our Church Institutions.
Many Bishops and Major Superiors rightly believe in proper training of personnel before appointing them into leadership roles. They have invested a lot in these trainings in schools abroad. But these have not been a sustainable set of options. Trainings abroad are usually very expensive and not always tailored to our concrete needs and situations.
We were convinced and found that we had local resource persons that can match and even surpass those of foreign management and development schools in training, competence, experience and contextualization of materials. Thus, the birth of FRALAN Institute of Management and Development Studies.

Vision
To serve as a resource and support facility to Dioceses and Religious Orders in the training of personnel for Church Projects and Institutes
To offer training that will aim at integrating faith and life
To offer training that will be tailored to the concrete existential realities of our environment and situation.
To offer training that will bring to play modern technology in the teaching and learning process.
To offer training that will employ the “HANDS-ON” approach to learning and build real-time competencies.
Mission
It is our hope that this programme will grow into a more stable, formal and regional training school for non-professional administrators, not just for our Diocese but for other Dioceses and Religious Congregations that may have need for it.
It is our hope that the Institute will have its own beautiful Campus
